Season ended Monday on the MO side for me. I hunt both KS and MO. Filled all six KS tags but went without a kill in MO for the first time in 11 seasons. Passed on small bucks, and then time ran out.

First anterless, September 19th.

Second doe, October 12th. Expired less than 15 yards from stand, where picture was taken from.

Halloween proved lucky. A triple on does including the biggest I ever shot-getting her on the ATV by myself was a workout!

Very slow rut in my area, slowest I have ever observed. Took this handsome buck which was the largest observed within bow range all season. All are bow kills.

Cannot wait for turkey season, and then a Canada bear hunt in May. Going with a new outfitter that we are excited about.
