Shadow hunter blinds

Anybody hunt out of one of these? I'm thinking about getting a 5x6. The wife gave me her Christmas bonus check and said to get one. I think she wants to bear hunt out of it. I think she feels safer than the ladder stands. One little scare from a bear and she forks over money for a tower stand. I should of put honey on her bow stands earlier if this was the result.

I have never hunted from one, but looked at the blinds and they seem nice..heard good things.

Redneck is what I prefer, but to each his own

I like the rednecks a lot too just not the price. The shadow hunters are what I'm leaning towards now, seem like the nicest in the mid price range.

Never used them, but they seem nice.

Menards has five-panel blinds for $400 now.

There seems to be alot of difference between the menards and a redneck.Check out the Banks blinds also as they are made to use the 4x4 legs

If you want the "ROLLS RICE" of blinds look up "360 hunting blinds", expensive but very very nice.

If your rolling the dice the Muddy’s seem to be the best. The only thing about the Shadow Hunter is those strings on each window bother me and the windows are plexiglass not glass.

The tint is a bit too dark, almost impossible to see out of in the woods early and late in the day. They are almost tolerable if in an open field. Easy 10 minute fix with new clear pieces of plexiglass though. They are a nice stand for the money.

I ordered two of the menards 5 panel. Local store had 4 in stock and they rang up $499 before 11% and $100 each rebates. Seems like a good price even if they need some tweaks.

Well you will be set for a while

can you shoot a crossbow out of the 5 panel?

They look a little small but with the new narrow crossbows it’s doable. If you have a older wide model it could pose some problems.

You sure it was the 5 panel for 499 before the rebates? My local menards is out of them but I see they have some in Baraboo, since I'll be that way Friday figured I'd pic a few up bit according to the app it's 499 AFTER the rebates

Yes it was before. Price dropped $100 each in my cart when I enteres my store number. Total out the door was 1068 before either rebate and after tax. I was on the fence actually but couldn't resist when the base price changed to 'sale price'.

Just ordered two of the 4 panel Booner blinds from the local Menards for in store pickup. I'll store them wrapped in a tarp until I can take them North this Spring. I guess it'll be cheaper and easier than building them from treated wood. I think maybe it'll be simpler to get them elevated too, since they are pretty light.

Can you order the Banks blinds with tinted windows?

I drove 2 hours to a menards that said they had 6 in Stock. Got there and could only find one.... I paid for three of them after getting them to discount for the hassle. Who knows when they'll find em thou. Store is a mess being renovated. After sales rebate and discount it'll only cost me 300 bucks each for the 5 panels.
