If you plant it, they’ll come! New plot

Where there is a will there is a way.....and it's hard to argue with those results. I have carved plots with a backpack sprayer and a weed-wacker before.

VERY SATISFYING!!!!! It's gratifying to see what BIG things we can accomplish when we use what we have at hand. GREAT JOB!!!!!

Nice job on the plot. Good to see daytime pics, too. That is always a plus.

While we all would like to have tractors, 3 point disks and drills to plant food plots... it’s not always needed. This is a great illustration of that. Congrats on a job well done. If you’re like most of us, you probably already feel that satisfaction with bucks showing up using it. Putting one down now would be icing on the cake. Good luck.

Nice job and good results so far !! Good luck with the buck.

That's a great buck in the plot and a beautiful plot, but holy cow that fawn is huge and FAT!

I was thinking the same thing - that fawn looks like it's been working out and eating protein shakes.

I hear in Ohio, that's what they look like on the 29th of July 2017 as a fawn and on the 3rd of October 2017 they are fully mature. LOL! I just noticed that the prep PICS were the same day, with the discing done at 11pm at night WOW. Did you sow the seed right after you disc? If you did, that is dedication! Good Luck!!!!!

Thanks guys!
Rain was in the forecast starting at 1am and only had that day to get it all done. All or nothing type of day. I broadcasted and packed the seed as soon I finished disking, and rain started minutes after I removed the equipment and made it back to the cabin :emoji_slight_smile:
