  1. Photos submitted for the contest must have been taken by a trail camera during the current month or the month prior. Example= To be eligible for the March 2017 contest, the photo must have been taken with a trail camera during February 2017 or March 2017.
  2. Photos must be submitted on or before the last day of the month for the contest to be eligible. Example= March 31st is the last day to enter a photo in the March contest.
  3. The winner is decided by the photo that receives the most "likes", counted on the 10th day after the end of the month. Example= Photo with the most "likes" on April 10th is the winner of the March contest. In the event of a tie the photo that was posted first will be deemed the winner.
  4. Members can submit up to 5 photos per contest (one photo per post), however no photo can be submitted into more than one contest.
  5. Members can "like" as many photos as they wish. (Participation is key to this working. Don't wait until the end of the month to vote for a winner, "like" photos as they are posted if you like them).
  6. Categories and prizes to be announced on a monthly basis.
  7. Any and all disputes or questionable entries will be reviewed by Admin and handled accordingly.
No category restriction for this month, it's "open season". Unfortunately I'm out of prizes for now so all the winner gets is bragging rights :emoji_wink:.

Here's an apple tree my dad planted many years ago in a yard he anticipated living in someday. That didn't pan out, but our hunting property is just across the road. The buck on left is a 3 year old and the one on right I can't place, but I think he might be a 2 year old with triple crabclaws on the beam ends. Hoping to get a look out of velvet. The bigger one shed on 9/1. This is my original trail cam, still cranking out the pics!

I know this is a crap photo but I am putting it here because I want some feedback on it....... is this little guy a piebald? The coloration on his face, down his neck and on his shoulder all move with him. I have my cam set on video, and with it being a night-time pic I just am not sure. Not sure what else it could be. I personally have not seen any deer in my area with this trait before. I am leaving the cam up so hopefully I will get some more of him in the daylight.

^^^transition from summer to winter coat is my guess

Yep, my deer have been 2 toned for the last couple weeks. The fawns are way behind.

For Comparison, these two r the original fawns I got on film earlier this spring.

I'd say one was bred in November and the other in December. The spotted fawns are going to have a tough go this winter.
