crabapples for coyotes

Ben.MN/WI

5 year old buck +
Anyone ever have pictures of coyotes eating crabapples? I have a giant wild crabapple that is probably 25-30' tall and it is loaded with nickel sized red crabapples this year. I threw a camera on the tree (the trunk was too big for my camera strap to fit around, so it had to go on a side branch) and I have a bunch of deer pictures as expected, but the number of coyote pictures is crazy. They were there multiple times per day, often during broad daylight (switched memory cards at halftime of the Packers game yesterday and there was a coyote feeding there at noon). I get a few random coyote pictures on trails and field edges, but nothing like this.

The crabapple is in a thick area, so I'll have to do some work to create an opening wide enough for an arrow to fit through. I'm kicking myself for not getting a stand site setup here before, but this should be a really good stand site eventually.

They eat large amounts of wild plums here. Coyotes are pretty opportunistic, melons, sweet corn, all types of berries.

let em eat lead, all of em. day or night.

You need a few wolves to control your coyote population :)
