A pretty solid whitetail/food plot seminar by Jeff Sturgis on youtube

Hey guys, I came across what I consider a pretty solid food plot seminar presented by Jeff Sturgis. It’s a hour and half long but it touches on food plots. Not so much on what exactly to plant, but more on placement. How they can help and harm your hunting. Doe and buck bedding. I do tend to agree with a lot of what was said because it does seem to fit with my observations and has given me some ideas moving forward. If you have the time check it out.

I have 3 of his "Success by design" books.....all good reads in my opinion.

Learned a lot from that. Now I need a seminar on remembering. Thanks for the youtube.

Looking forward to watching this. I have two of his books, although I haven't been able to read straight thru either of them yet. He sent me the wrong book the first time because it got bound in the wrong cover, and to his credit he sent me the other one free of charge. You can tell he's pretty sharp from the reading, so it'll be interesting to see how he is "in person".

I agree on his abilities, although, his writing style is difficult to read.

Good watch, longer than I expected

I agree. I've read all three books and several times I needed to reread a sentence several times. Its either the editing or me. Also the illustrations in the books are tiny. That being said I like his concepts more so than the other habitat guys. His videos are very good, excellent delivery of information in a calm matter of fact style.

Ive read alot of habitat stuff, and what Jeff says aligns alot with my experiences and observations in the midwest. I think his approach to habitat it perfect for a smaller parcel land owner. Since following his strategies, Ive gotten my three best bow bucks the last 3 years, out of 17 years of bow hunting. He lives in my home town, so have alot of mutual connections.

Slow day with all the snow. Watched this and was well worth the time. Lee do you go to any baseball games down there? Chaseburg-Coon Valley usually has a good team.
