4 wheeler marker?

Has anyone come up with some sort of a way to put a "marker" on your wheeler so you can see where you've gone with your seeder/sprayer? Similar to a marker on a planter.

I'm thinking something like a disk blade that goes in the receiver hitch.

Maybe unnecessary, but I just think sometimes it would be nice to have a better way of knowing where I've gone.

I haven't tried it yet, but I bought a can of this spray marker to see how it works. It may be a bit awkward to use at the same time as operating an ATV. But I figured I could walk the plot first and spray dots about ten feet apart to create lanes to follow with the ATV.

I have issues in the past as well but what I started doing was do a pass and then instead turning back for another pass I loop all the way around and make the next pass in the same direction of the first. It adds time but I can see the previous pass path better that way instead of going against it.

Can't take credit for the idea but I built one of these this summer.

5 gallon can with a drilled hole and valve stem added to the bottom.

Before inserting the valve stem attach an aquarium bubbler to it. I found an old carbon arrow works nice for epoxiing into the stem.

Hook a cheap 12 volt air compressor to it. When filled with water and foam marker it does a good job. Finding a way to attach the hose to the spout so it doesn't leak takes trial and error. I used cheap 3/4 inch Hose.

Also found that cutting the bottom out a water bottle and putting it on the hose end makes better foam drops. I didn't get pics of that.

Edit the pic shows the bottle but the video doesn't.
