240 acres Eagleville Missouri!

It's Missouri, access is tough everywhere!

Its good, no doubt!

The only draw back and it is not a draw back to me. Is the northwest 40 is hard to access. Coming from the south there is a large creek bottom that you have to go down and back up to get to that 40. It is not driveable with a 4 wheeler. The owner before this owner 10 years ago brought in a big backhoe and tried to cut the banks down to make a low water crossing which is common in MO. It was all rock and could not be done. The owner currently has permission to come in off the road from the west for access. I would make that 40 bedding and stay the hell out of there if it were mine. Only hunt the SE edge during the rut.

The other draw back was a cougar was seen in and around this property. Its sighting was confirmed by the MDC. But for some reason word is out that it is no longer wandering around that area.;)

Tough access on part of the farm can be a plus. Like you said--perfect sanctuary!

I was talking about covert hunting access, maybe you were too, but it's still a killer looking piece. Equipment access in MO with all the ditches.....beyond frustrating. The winch on my wheeler saved me 3 times this past weekend in ditches that I drove my truck across just 2 years ago. Thank god for well placed trees or I'd still be at the bottom of one.

As I said, it's Missouri. Swirling winds, creek bottoms you could lose the a mack truck in, or build a nice little bridge to cross a creek bottom, just to come back and find out it has washed 2 miles down stream, just the way it is!

But you just have to hunt it to know what we are talking about.
