2016 buck

Just getting around to posting this from november. Well this was the biggest buck in our area, and one we named high brows. We've had him on camera the two summers ago but then he moved about a mile and was always in a field across the road. Had to wait for him to make a mistake during the rut to get a crack at him. This was my first buck off the property, and first 'big' buckle my career. Hopefully the first of many to come.

Thanks guys, no I didn't get the chance to weigh him. All I know is that he was HEAVY. I've never struggled getting a deer onto the wheeler like we did with this one. I'm going to add a scale to the list of things we need to add to our cabin. We don't even have a game like yet. We got some work to do yet.

Haven't gotten him back from taxi yet to score him. We weren't really set up for shooting anything as far as scoring weighing and hanging haha. My guess was gross 140, maybe more maybe less.

Thanks man, how often do you drive by? Deer seem to be EVERYWHERE this spring! Luckily we've been seeing the most on our fields than we ever have in the spring. We had an average food plot year after all that rain, so hoping our ditching will help. Looks like we may need to maximize yield with all these deer around!!

Did you hear of many nice bucks shot in the area? From reports I've heard, there were a handful at most shot. A couple decent bucks, but no giants from what I've heard.
