2014 Yearbook Bucks

SD51555

5 year old buck +
Pulled our cards at the end of season for us. We were pleasantly surprised at how dramatically our fortunes changed from one year to the next. Last year, we had about 8 bucks all summer until about October 1st. Then they all disappeared. We couldn't buy even a doe pic after 10/1. This year was the exact opposite. Couldn't buy a picture until 10/1. Then we had a group of bucks hang out all of October and visit our little plot that could.

Best guess after reviewing pics is that we had between 6-8 unique bucks in a group out there. Lots of pics to follow:

Sparing shots are great.

I'll take the small window of bucks during the fall over seeing them all summer any day. Nice pics.

I can't say for sure the plot altered the movement, but it sure gave us a jolt of energy to get out there and get the work done to expand the existing plot and open up another.

lots of great pics! it sure is nice to see things change as you work on your property! How much land do you guys have?

38 acres. I say 40 for simplicity.
