1st day of vacation buck.

North Mo

5 year old buck +
I took a couple weeks of vacation and on the first vacation day from work was lucky enough to get a chance at this 10pt. It was a short vacation. The below normal temps really had the deer moving. The meat locker I use told me they have had twice the number of deer turned in so far this year compared to the same time period last year.
I am not sure how much this buck weighed but at 59 years old it was all I could handle by myself. Fortunately I killed him in the morning so I had most of the day to get him out. In the trail cam photo he dwarfs the younger 8pt. An interesting thing is that I have many pictures of him in one plot but 2 other cameras 150 yards and 300 yards away have zero pictures of him. 1030171039.jpg 10220035.JPG

Congratulations! Great buck. I had a 2.5 year old 8 point at 15 yards this morning. Bucks running does. It was crazy.

That is a fine looking deer. Congratulations.

Congratulations!
I like the live pic. Shows what a tank he is next to another really decent buck.

I start vacation in Friday I hope mine goes out the same way. I usually lean the other way and end up tagging out on the last day

Congratulations, your hard work has paid off.

Congrats on a beautiful buck.

Congrats! That buck has a cool look to him. Interesting trail cam observation. I always find it fascinating how some deer avoid certain cams, for one reason or another.

Congratulations! Well done

Congrats!

Darn nice buck! CONGRATS! :emoji_thumbsup::emoji_beers:

Well done sir!!

Nice buck. How do you like the Scorpyd?

Congrats!

Real nice deer.....I am taking my first hunting vacation day tomorrow......

Congrats!

Awesome buck. Congrats to you. If I got done that early I might just take a recliner out in the woods to watch the action. Haha.

Nice buck. How do you like the Scorpyd?
I really like it. The power is impressive and gives me way more confidence in a quick kill. It is actually loud when the bolt hits a deer.

Congrats on a big brute !! That pic next to the 8 pt. shows what a tank he is.

Congrats!!!!!
